I am a Starter — what should I look for in a pickleball bag?

If you are just beginning your pickleball journey, you will want a pickleball bag to carry your gear, but you do not need too much. You will want to start with one paddle, a few balls, a water bottle, and some towels. Therefore, you will want to look for a pickleball bag that can hold at least your basics, plus your keys, sunglasses, and any small accessories you will be bringing with you.

Do the  pickleball backpacks have a hook to hang on a fence?

The Selkirk Sport Team and Tour Bags have a clip to hang this backpack on any fence. The Day Bag does not. It is important to hand your bag up on the fence, or move it off the court for safety reasons, as many people trip over items on the court when running for a ball. Selkirk also sells carabiners to hang up any bag without a hook. 

Is there a compartment for pickleball shoes?

The Selkirk Tour Bag has a separate shoe compartment. The Team and Day Bags do not have a separate shoe compartment, but will fit a pair of pickleball shoes in the main compartment.

Are your pickleball backpacks water-resistant?
